Former Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani has launched Manav Garima Yojana to financially help the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, OBCs and Backward Classes of the state. Under this scheme, entrepreneurship among the above castes, individuals will be encouraged to generate adequate income and self-employment. The government is also going to provide additional tools/equipment to the socially backward classes so that they can continue their local businesses. These tools will be provided mainly to vegetable sellers, carpenters and people involved in plantations.
Financial assistance of Rs 4000 will also be provided to eligible beneficiaries under Gujarat Manav Garima Yojana. Successful implementation of this scheme will reduce the unemployment rate of the state. Gujarat Manav Garima Yojana is also going to improve the economic condition of the state. Objective of Gujarat Manav Garima Yojana
