Details of financial assistance provided by Govt

Under this scheme, the government will provide financial assistance to girls in 6 installments. Whose details are given below:-

• First installment- 2500 will be given to the parents of a girl child born through delivery in private medical institutions authorized by the state and medical and health department for institutional delivery. This financial assistance will be provided to the beneficiary under Janani Suraksha Yojana.
• Second installment – 2500 will be given when the girl child turns 1 year old.
• Third installment – 4000 will be made available to the beneficiary girl child on getting admission in first class in any government school in the state.
• 4th instalment – Financial assistance of ₹ 5000 will be provided when the girl child gets admission in 6th standard.
• Fifth installment – On admission in class 10 in any government school in the state, a financial assistance of Rs.11000 will be given to the girl’s bank account.
• 6th instalment – After the girl passes 12th standard, she will be given a lump sum of Rs.25000. The government will directly transfer this amount to the girl’s bank account.

• During the year 2016-17, the Chief Minister Rajshree Scheme Started by Rajasthan Govt.
• The main objective of starting this project is to change the society’s negative thinking towards girls and make it positive.
• Only girls born on or after June 1, 2016 can benefit from this scheme.
• under CM Rajshree Scheme 2023₹ 50000 financial assistance will be made available to girls in the state in 6 installments fixed by the government.
• Apart from this the financial assistance will be given under this scheme even if the admission is done in various classes.
• By benefiting from this scheme, girls can lead a better life in the society.
• through Chief Minister Rajshree SchemeFemale feticide will be abolished in Rajasthan, resulting in better sex ratio.

Some important guidelines related to Rajasthan Chief Minister Rajshree Scheme

• The medical health department will pay the benefit amount to the parents or guardians of the girl child after securing the vaccination online when the girl child completes one year of age.
• For this, a unique ID number will be given to the girl child at the time of birth.
• Beneficiary need not apply for first and second installment.
• Second installment will be available after uploading Matru Shishu Swasthya Karya or Mamta card issued by Medical and Health Department as proof of immunization.
• Under the Subha Lakshmi Yojana running in the state, the medical health and family welfare department will provide the benefits of the first and second installments to the girls.
• The third installment will be paid to the girl after getting admission in the first class. To get the third instalment, the girl child can submit online application in prescribed format through Emitra or Atal Seva Kendra or other available options.
• It is mandatory for the beneficiary to upload copy of mother child security card, school admission certificate and copy of all declarations related to two children while applying.
• All online applications received will be approved by the Program Officer.
• The benefit amount will be transferred online to the beneficiary’s bank account.
• To get the third, fourth, fifth and sixth installment, the applicant must apply in the prescribed format.
• A copy of school admission certificate is also required to be uploaded while applying.
• The Department of Women and Child Development will run this project smoothly.
• The scheme will be reviewed once in every month by the concerned District Collector.
• Along with this, the State Government will issue guidelines from time to time and amend these guidelines for smooth functioning of this scheme.

Eligibility under CM Rajshree Scheme

• All girls in the state born on or after June 1, 2022 are eligible to apply under this scheme.
• It is essential that the girl’s parents have an Aadhaar card or Bhamasha card. If the beneficiary’s parents do not have Aadhaar card or Bhamasha card at the time of first installment, in this case the first installment payment will be made on institutional delivery basis. But copy of Aadhaar or Bhamasha card must be provided to get the benefit of the second installment.
• Applicant must be a permanent resident of Rajasthan. All obstetricians who have performed institutional deliveries outside Rajasthan and are beneficiaries of Janani Suraksha Yojana must submit the live birth certificate of the girl child. In this case, the benefit of this scheme should be provided by the Government Medical Institute having permanent residency jurisdiction. Out-of-state obstetricians will not benefit from this scheme.
• All girls born in institutional delivery will be given the benefit of first and second installments.
• The benefit of installments 3 and 4 is limited to two entities existing in a family.
• In addition to two installments, the benefit of other installments will be given only to girls whose number of establishments in the family is not more than two.
• If such a girl child of one or two beneficiary parents dies, in this case the number of dead girls will be reduced from the total living children of the parents. A female child will be eligible for the benefit.
• To get the benefit of the first installment, it is necessary to give birth through proposal in private medical institutions authorized by the state and the medical and health department for institutional delivery.
• The benefit of the second installment will be available to the girl child on the basis of taking all the vaccines under the Amma Child Health Card or Mamta Card issued by the Medical and Health Department.
• Efforts will also be made to connect all the first installment beneficiary girls in the state with Anganwadis through Integrated Child Development Services.
• The next installment is available to the beneficiary only if the other installments are received earlier by the beneficiary.
• Only girls studying at each stage in state government run educational institutions can benefit from this scheme.
