Finance Minister Palanivel Tyaga Rajan announced this scheme on March 18, 2022. 1000 will be deposited in the bank account of girls enrolled in government schools through this scheme. Around 6 lakh girls will benefit from this scheme. The government is spending Rs 698 crore for the implementation of this project.
