SSC MTS 2023 Selection Process
Selection of candidates is based on a two-stage examination process, which includes an online test followed by document verification. Note that there is an additional round for MTS Havildar post to check the physical fitness of the candidates.

SSC MTS 2023 Paper 1
The first stage of the selection process will be conducted online through a computer-based examination consisting of only objective multiple-choice questions. The CBT exam is divided into two sessions. Each session has two must-attempt categories.
Candidates should note that the marks obtained in this round will be used while preparing the merit list. Each wrong answer carries a negative mark of 1 mark. State wise cut off commission will be released.
The minimum passing score for SSC MTS exam is 40% for general category candidates while 35% out of total 50 marks for reserved categories.

SSC MTS 2023 PET/PST for Havaldar
Candidates who applied for MTS Havildar post in CBIC and CBN will participate in PET/PST round after qualifying in CBT round. Both men and women will participate in this round. In this round the physical strength and fitness of the candidates will be assessed. Candidates who do not meet the physical requirements will be disqualified.

SSC MTS 2023 Document Verification
After declaring the SSC MTS 2023 result or merit list for the eligible candidates, the commission will release the admit card for document verification. The admit card will contain all the essential details like date, time and location for the document verification round.
This stage of the process is used to check the documentation proving the eligibility of the candidates. So, before submitting an application for the exam, candidates are recommended to review the SSC MTS 2023 Eligibility Criteria.
