SSC JHT 2023 Selection Process: SSC JHT 2023 is an examination conducted annually by the Staff Selection Commission to recruit eligible candidates for Group “B” Non-Gazetted posts in various Ministries, Departments and Organizations as Junior Hindi Translators (JHT), Junior Translator and Senior Hindi Translator.

SSC JHT 2023 Paper 1

Staff Selection Commission conducts SSC JHT Paper 1- Computer based test which assesses candidates’ ability to understand language and literature, correct use of words, phrases and idioms and ability to write language accurately, accurately and effectively.

There are 200 questions worth one mark each with negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer. The total time allotted for the exam is 2 hours.

SSC JHT 2023 Paper 2

SSC JHT 2023 Paper 2 consists of two sections for translation: one passage for translation from Hindi to English and one passage for translation from English to Hindi; and one essay each in Hindi and English to test the candidates’ translation skills and their ability to write and understand both languages ​​accurately, accurately and effectively.

Document verification

Candidates who qualify the online test and the descriptive test will be called for the document verification round before being appointed in various departments or ministries of the Government of India.

Candidates should bring original documents mentioned below along with their photocopies.

• Valid ID Proof which can be Aadhaar Card/ Voter ID Card/ PAN Card/ Passport/ Driving License etc.
• Matriculation/Secondary Certificate
• Educational qualification certificate
• Experience Certificate (if applicable)
• Caste/Category Certificate (if belonging to reserved category)
• Disability certificate in required format (if applicable)
• Ex-servicemen need relevant certificate
• Relevant certificate for age relaxation
• No Objection Certificate (for candidates already employed in any Govt.)
