SSC GD 2023 Exam Pattern: Every year, Staff Selection Commission conducts SSC GD exam to recruit General Duty Constables to BSF, CAPF, SSF, CISF, NCB etc. SSC conducts online written test for preliminary selection of candidates. Before checking the exam pattern, it is essential to know the selection process of SSC GD 2023. The selection process for the post of General Duty Constable includes the following steps:
- Computer Based Test (CBT)
- Physical Standard Test (PST)

SSC GD 2023 Exam Pattern: CBT
The first phase of SSC GD 2023 is the written test. The exam will be conducted online through CBT. There are total 4 sections in this exam which are General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Awareness, Elementary Mathematics and Hindi/English.
The exam can be given in Hindi and English and is bilingual in nature. There are 80 questions in the exam. Candidates will get two marks for correct answers. 1/2 mark will be deducted for wrong answer.

Physical Standard Test (PST)
Candidates who qualify the written exam will go through the Physical Standard Test which will check the physical requirements of the candidates for the post of GD Constable. Both male and female should meet the criteria set by SSC.

Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
Those who meet the physical criteria will participate in the PET which will assess the stamina of the candidates. SSC will conduct separate races for men and women in which they have to complete a given distance within a given time.
