Nationality

As per Eligibility Criteria, Candidates Applying for SSC CGL 2023 Exam. A candidate should be A

  • Resident of Indian territory with valid ID proof or not
  • Either Nepal or Bhutan subject, or
  • A Tibetan refugee who immigrated to India before January 1962, or
  • A person of Indian origin who has migrated from eastern countries like Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Burma, Uganda, Kenya, United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Ethiopia, Zaire and Vietnam

Educational qualification

Although SSC CGL 2023-24 educational criteria are different for different posts, “Graduation” is the minimum educational qualification required for SSC CGL 2023-24 recruitment exam.

Junior Statistical Officer (JSO) Graduation in any subject from any recognized university with minimum 60% marks in Mathematics in class 12th.

Degree in any subject with statistics as one of the subjects in graduation.

Basic Qualification: Degree in any discipline from any recognized university.
Additional Qualification: Applicants must qualify the Computer Proficiency Test (CPT).
All other posts Degree or its equivalent in any discipline from a recognized university.

Age limit

The age limit for SSC CGL 2023–24 is between 18 to 32 years. To qualify the exam, the age of the candidate should be within the age limit specified for the particular post for which he/she is willing to apply. Check the table given below for all details regarding age limit.

(A): “Walking” test is not compulsory in case of OL and OAL categories.

(b): “Cycling” test is not mandatory in case of OL, OA and OAL categories.
