Objectives of Telangana Driver Empowerment Programme

The main purpose of Driver Empowerment Program 2023 Telangana state government has started to empower drivers in the state. Drivers belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Minorities and Backward Communities of the state will be benefited through this scheme. Through this scheme, the state government will provide a financial assistance of Rs 1.5 lakh or 50% subsidy to eligible drivers while purchasing auto-rickshaws. Under this scheme, skill enhancement training will also be provided to the eligible youth of the state who are willing to turn professional in driving.
