Survival Kerala Scheme 2022

Kerala Atijeevanam Keraliyam Scheme was announced by Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan on August 27, 2020. Components of Athijivanam Keralayam Scheme 2022

The scheme has the following components:-

Yuva Keralam Project

The main objective of the Yuva Keralam project is to provide employment to 10,000 people as a part of the Athijivanam Keralayam project. The state government has sanctioned about Rs.100 crores. 60 crores for this project. In this YKP portion, the recipients will be persons between the age group of 18 to 35 years from helpless families. However, persons belonging to Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Persons with Disabilities (PH) categories can sign up up to the age of 45 years. 100% free preparation, free travel, accommodation, dinner, dressing, post-arrangement support, orientation and follow-up for 1 year are included in the Yuva Kerala scheme.

Interface with Work (C2W)

The Interface with Work (C2W) program will focus on the development of fine skills of youth from provincial zones. In this section of the plan, the government will propose to empower the youth to find jobs and interface them to the labor market. The principle of Kerala Atijivanam Keralayam project is to prepare about five thousand women and youth. These prepared youths will then link up with businesses/election representatives to ensure productive employment in line with their teaching skills, preparation and planning. About Rs. 5 crore has been allocated for this C2W initiative.

Kerala Entrepreneurship Development Program (EDP-K)

The basic objective of the EDP-K initiative is to send the most intensive efforts in each selected square zone over the state. Under this wing of the Atijeevanam Keralayam project, around 16,800 new activities in horticultural and non-agricultural sectors will be started in 14 flood-affected squares in the state. About 20,000 individuals are involved in the Kerala Entrepreneurship Development Program and both have the opportunity to join the scheme. In this scheme, the government will give an advance to an extent. 1 lakh for people and Rs. 5 lakh for Bunch Adventures and 4% of the financing cost. 1000 amount of Rs. 70 crores have been allocated for the EDP-K category.

Achieving Resilience and Identity through Sustainable Employment (ARISE)

The aim of the ARIS project is to prepare the youth and Kudumbashree workers. Achieving Resilience and Identity through Sustainable Employment (ARISE) project was launched in 2018-19. This scheme is intended for those who have lost their jobs due to the floods in the state. During the current financial year 2020-21, Kerala Athijivanam Keralayam will provide employment opportunities to around 10,000 people under this part of the scheme. 1000 amount of Rs. 10 crore has been allocated for this ARISE initiative.

Kudumbashree Micro Enterprise Development Program (KMEDP)

Under this KMEDP part of the project, about 3,000 individual enterprises and 2,000 collective enterprises will be started. Through this scheme, Kudumbashree will support individuals and their families to embark on adventurous journeys. 10,000 individuals are said to benefit from the scheme. All individual businesses can accept initiatives up to a limit of Rs. 2.50 lakhs and adventure activities to an extent. 10 lakhs. Kudumbashree District Missions will provide assistance to individuals in skill building and business preparation through organizing organizations selected by Kudumbashree District Missions. Preparation in this program is absolutely free as in different ventures.
