AFCAT 2023 Selection process
AFCAT 2023 selection process is divided into three stages: Computer Based Test, AFSB and Medical Examination.
- Computer Based Examination: This stage is the initial stage of the selection process. An online test will be conducted and the candidates who score well and meet the cutoff criteria will advance to the next stage of the AFCAT selection process.
- AFSB Test: Selected candidates will be called for interview or personality test. This round will evaluate the candidates based on their personality and intellectual qualities.
- Medical examination: To be eligible for the post, candidates need to qualify all the previous stages of the selection process. The two centers recommended for medical examination are: Institute of Aviation Medicine, Bengaluru and Air Force Central Medical Establishment (AFCME).
AFCAT 2023 Exam Pattern
All candidates applying for technical or non-technical posts are required to take the Air Force Common Admission Test. The AFCAT 2023 exam pattern has two sections, the exam consists of 100 questions, each carrying 3 marks, totaling 300 marks. Also, each wrong answer selected by the candidate will carry negative marking of 1 mark.
